Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for reducing transfer delay occurring in traffic requiring transfer of a small number of packets, while maintaining fairness of packet transfer between different types of traffics, in a router device of CCN.SOLUTION: A router device includes multiple queues corresponding, respectively, to different priorities as the priority of transmission of packet from an interface, for each interface. Upon receiving a packet, the router device determines an interface for transmitting the packet, by processing base on CS, PIT and FIB (S1). When a segment number exists in the segment name of the segment included in the packet to be transmitted (S2, S3), the router device determines a class value C based on the segment number (S4). Furthermore, the router device compares the class value C thus determined with a threshold level, and determines the queue of the storage destination of the packet to be transmitted (S6), before storing the determined packet in the determined queue (S7).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
