Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately determine a specific operation of a gas appliance.SOLUTION: A flow rate measuring device comprises: flow rate measuring means that measures the flow rate of a gas flowing in a channel at a fixed time interval; arithmetic means that calculates a differential value between flow rate values measured at two continuous timings; and determination means that determines a specific operation of a gas appliance on the basis of an average flow rate of and differential values between a predetermined number of flow rate values. After the differential values fall within a predetermined range continuously for a predetermined number of times, when determination conditions are established in which: the amount of change in average flow rate relative to a reference flow rate falls within a predetermined flow rate range and the differential value between the two predetermined flow rate values used for calculation of the average flow rate when the amount of change in average flow rate falls within the predetermined flow rate range is equal to or less than a first predetermined value, the determination means determines the specific operation of the gas appliance.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
