Abstract:
A head-up display device displays a virtual image of a display image by projecting, to a projection member (WS), a display image (11) displayed by light emission on a rendering region (41). The head-up display device comprises a screen (30) for forming the rendering region, and a projector (20) for rendering the display image in the rendering region through scanning with rendering light (DL). The projector irradiates a region outside the rendering region with control light (CL) for controlling the rendering light. A control light reflecting surface (42) for reflecting the control light in a different direction than the rendering light is formed in the region of the screen reached by the control light.
