Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting device capable of simply cutting a platy or block-shaped foamed resin workpiece at high dimensional accuracy.SOLUTION: A cutting device 3 is equipped with a frame structure 4 landing on the upper face of a foamed resin workpiece 1. The frame structure 4 has a lower frame 5, left and right longitudinal frames 6 and an upper frame 7, and a heating coil 10 is stretched between the lower ends of the longitudinal frames 6. The foamed resin workpiece 1 is cut by the heating coil 10 when moving the cutting device 3 in such a state as placed on the workpiece 1 from one end of the workpiece 1 toward the other end. A roller type guide body 16 is provided to the lower frame 5. Since the rollers 20 are disposed under the lower frame 5 and at both back and forth thereof, plural rollers 20 are placed on the upper face of the workpiece 1 from a cutting start to the end of the cutting work. Thereby, the cutting device 3 is held at a stable posture from the cutting work to the end thereof.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
