Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fabric which is applicable to a wide range of uses and can be easily combined with various structures, in the fabric having a certain degree of thickness.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for manufacturing a woven fabric having a three-dimensional structure. The woven fabric includes a weave repeat structure of a honeycomb weave structure in at least part of a woven structure. In the honeycomb weave structure, a high heat shrinkage yarn and a low heat shrinkage yarn are used as two kinds of yarns having different heat shrinking properties. In the honeycomb weave structure, in regions where warp yarns and weft yarns are floated long, and where squares are formed, the high heat shrinkage yarns are arranged, and the low heat shrinkage yarns are arranged in the other regions. After the woven fabric is woven, it is subjected to heat treatment, so that the high heat shrinkage yarns are shrunk more than the low heat shrinkage yarns, thereby forming the three-dimensional structure.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
