Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of suppressing power consumed by an operation by remote control.SOLUTION: An air conditioner 400A includes: a communication part 452A for receiving an operation start command of the air conditioner 400A from a portable terminal 100A capable of remotely operating the air conditioner 400A, and for receiving the outdoor temperature from the portable terminal 100A or other terminals; a temperature sensor 414 for detecting the indoor temperature; and an operation control part 470A which, in the case where the communication part 452A has received the operation start command, when there is a predetermined temperature difference or greater between the indoor temperature and the outdoor temperature, changes the setting temperature of the air conditioner to the setting temperature at which power consumption can be suppressed further than operating the air conditioner at the current setting temperature of the air conditioner 400A, and starts the operation of the air conditioner 400A at the setting temperature after the change.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
