Abstract:
To estimate a route-specific traffic amount from observation value data including a loss.SOLUTION: An estimation device includes: route generation means for generating multiple routes from a departure place of a movement object to a destination on the basis of input road network data; routing matrix generation means for generating a routing matrix expressing whether or not movement objects to pass each one of multiple routes are observed at each one of multiple observation points on the basis of multiple routes generated by the route generation means and multiple observation points where traffic amounts of movement objects are respectively observed; and route-specific traffic amount estimation means for estimating traffic amounts of movement objects in each one of multiple routes on the basis of a routing matrix generated by the routing matrix generation means and first observation value data indicating traffic amounts of movement objects respectively observed at multiple observation points in multiple observation periods.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
