PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a vehicle and detected obstacles such that a positional relationship between the vehicle and obstacles can be intuitively grasped.SOLUTION: A bird's eye video creation device comprises: a video data acquisition part 42 that acquires periphery video data obtained by photographing the periphery of a vehicle; an obstacle information acquisition part 43 that acquires positional information on objects detected on the periphery of the vehicle; a bird's eye video creation part 45 that creates a composed bird's eye video obtained by performing viewpoint conversion processing such that a virtual viewpoint is located on an extended line from the vehicle to the obstacles, so that a bird's eye view of the vehicle and obstacles can be seen in the periphery video acquired by the video data acquisition part 42, on the basis of the positional information on the obstacles acquired by the obstacle information acquisition part 43; and a display control part 48 that displays the bird's eye video created by the bird's eye video creation part 45 on a display panel 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
