PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coupling mechanism joining/separating tool capable of quickly and securely releasing a coupling metal fitting even during emergency while improving portability and versatility.SOLUTION: A coupling mechanism joining/separating tool A for separating a male coupling from a female coupling with a fire hose coupling mechanism configured such that the male coupling 120 is loosely fitted in the female coupling 110 so as to be sealable and connectable, an engaging claw is arranged so as to appear/disappear on the inner peripheral surface of the female coupling, and a raised part freely engaged with the engaging claw, a push ring 122 freely slid for releasing engagement with the engaging claw, and a stepped part 143 positioned behind the push ring are formed on the outer peripheral surface of the male coupling. A lower end edge 33 of a biforked separating tool body 10 is freely brought into contact with the stepped part of the male coupling as a fulcrum, a lower bent part 31 is freely brought into contact with the push ring of the male coupling, and an upper end 21 enables the separating tool body to operate, thereby forming an elevator jig.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
