Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle optical sensor cleaning device which efficiently attains high cleaning performance.SOLUTION: An on-vehicle optical sensor cleaning device jets air from an air jetting port 7 of a second nozzle unit 8 to a lens surface of an on-vehicle camera mounted on a vehicle to remove foreign objects adhering to the lens surface. The second lens unit 8 includes: a movable nozzle member 10 having the air jetting port 7; and a housing member (a case 9 and a base end closing member 11) which supports the movable nozzle member 10 so that the movable mozzle member 10 can move forward and rearward. The housing member includes: a jetting air introduction port 12a communicating with the air jetting port 7 of the movable nozzle member 10 in at least a state where the movable nozzle member 10 moves forward; and a forward movement air introduction port 17a which communicates with a sealing part 16 defined by a base end part of the movable nozzle member 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
