PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing a coffee extract liquid capable of efficiently removing caffeine without affecting colors and flavors inherent in coffee, and a method of producing a caffeine-reduced coffee drink.SOLUTION: According to the present invention, there are provided: a method of producing a coffee extract liquid with reduced caffeine that comprises a step of contacting a coffee extract liquid with baked white clay; and a method of producing a caffeine-reduced coffee drink that comprises producing a coffee extract liquid by the aforementioned production method, and adding the resulting coffee extract liquid.SELECTED DRAWING: None
