Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact that satisfies the following requirements that molding materials are covered with a substance forming an airtight film and, when aggregates of the molding materials are charged into a molding machine or a mold and heat and pressure are applied thereto, the substance forming the film turns into an airtight coating film, whole molding materials are covered with the airtight coating film, and the molding materials are bound with each other via the coating film to produce a compact in which empty holes are not formed.SOLUTION: A suspension is prepared where molding materials are dispersed in an organic compound, the molding materials having nanoparticles of a metal forming a metallic bond and precipitated on the surface. When the suspension is charged into a molding machine or a mold and heat and pressure are applied thereto, the molding materials are covered with an aggregate of the nanoparticles of a metal forming a metal bond after the organic compound evaporates, and the aggregate of the metal nanoparticles forms a metal bond to bind the molding materials with each other to form a compact. The compact has no hollow holes inside and also has non-flammability and a property of not auto-igniting.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
