PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biological information measuring system that uses electric power efficiently by causing a biological information sensor to be operated at a time when measurement data is most needed and causing it to stop its operation at a time other than that.SOLUTION: A biological information measuring system includes a biological information measuring device 100 worn by a user for measuring biological information, and a biological state sign device 200 for notifying the biological information measuring device 100 of a timing at which to start measuring the biological information using short-range wireless communication means 320. The biological state sign device 200 includes sensor activation command creating means 220 for notifying of the start of the biological information measurement. The biological information measuring device 100 includes a control program to power on a biological information sensor and measure biological information when informed of the start of the biological information measurement.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
