Abstract:
This movable body moving device 1 is provided with: a wire 2 having an engaging body E; a movable body 3 to which an end of the wire 2 is connected; and a drum 4 which has an outer circumferential part 41 and an interior part 42. The outer circumferential part 41 has an outer circumferential surface 41a that is provided without a break in a circumferential direction. The interior part 42 is provided so as to be separated from the outer circumferential part 41. The interior part 42 is provided with: an engaging body housing part 421 which has a housing space S; and a wire lead-out part 422 through which the wire 2 extending from the engaging body E is led out. The engaging body housing part 421 is provided with a to-be-engaged section 421a that engages one end Ea of the engaging body E. The wire 2 is configured such that, in a state in which the engaging body E is housed in the engaging body housing part 421, a wire portion 21 on one side thereof and a wire portion 22 on the other side are wound around the outer circumferential part 41. With this configuration, it is possible to provide a movable body moving device which enables easy engagement between a wire and a drum and which is free from any problem concerning movement of a movable body arising from sliding between the wire and the drum.
