Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly perform projection welding.SOLUTION: A projection welding device includes: a fixed electrode 35 and a movable electrode 25 which are arranged to face each other on a common axial line X; a shaft member 32 into which a sun gear 8 is externally inserted and to which a clutch hub 9 is loosely fitted; a support member 38 which movably supports the sun gear 8 and the clutch hub 9 in the axial line X direction; and aligning means 4 which matches a center of the clutch hub 9 mounted in the fixed electrode 35 with the axial line X. When welding is performed by holding the sun gear 8 and the clutch hub 9 between the fixed electrode 35 and the movable electrode 25, support positions of the sun gear 8 and the clutch hub 9 by the support member 38 are set so that a body section 80 of the sun gear 8 pressed by the movable electrode 25 abuts on a welding section 921 of the clutch hub 9 mounted in the fixed electrode 35.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
