Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolyte for a Li ion secondary battery, by which superior battery characteristics including cycle and rate characteristics can be achieved.SOLUTION: The above purpose is achieved by an electrolyte for a Li ion secondary battery, which comprises a solvation ionic liquid containing methyl monoglyme (G1) and methyl diglyme (G2), and a Li salt. The ratio of a total mole number of oxygen atoms that the G1 and G2 include vs. the mole number of Li in the Li salt (i.e. a total mole number of oxygen atoms included in the G1 and G2 to that of Li in the Li salt) is 3.0 or more and less than 4.0. The mixing mole ratio of the G1 and G2 (i.e. G1 mole number/G2 mole number) is more than 1/4 and less than 3/2.SELECTED DRAWING: None
