Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To synchronize image output among a plurality of transmission systems that encode an image to transmit, and that decode an encoded image.SOLUTION: Each of a plurality of transmission systems comprises an encoding device that encodes an encoding target image to generates an encoded image, a communications network that transmits the encoded image, and a decoding device that decodes the encoded image received from the communications network to generate a decoded image. A calculation unit 111 calculates time from input of a first encoding target image to a first encoding device included in a first transmission system of the plurality of transmission systems to generation of a first decoded image by a first decoding device included in the first transmission system. A determination unit 112 determines standby time based on time calculated by the calculation unit, as well as time from input of a second encoding target image to a second encoding device included in a second transmission system of the plurality of transmission systems to time until generation of a second decoded image by a second decoding device included in the second transmission system. The standby time is the time from generation of the first decoded image to output of the first decoded image.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
