Abstract:
To provide techniques for enhancing Fab antibody forming efficiency and uses thereof.SOLUTION: An antibody H chain gene encoding a VH region and a CH1 region and an antibody L chain gene encoding a VL region and a CL region are co-expressed to obtain a Fab antibody. Alternatively, an antibody H chain gene encoding a VH region and a CH1 region and an antibody L chain gene encoding a VL region and a CL region are separately expressed and the expression products are mixed to obtain a Fab antibody. A first tag sequence encoding one peptide of a peptide pair forming a leucine zipper is added to the H chain gene and a second tag sequence encoding the other peptide of the leucine zipper peptide pair is added to the L chain gene.SELECTED DRAWING: None
