Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball bearing which has an improved loading capacity in an axial load than a standard deep groove ball bearing, prevents the intrusion of foreign matters having a specified particle diameter, and achieves lower torque and higher speed of the ball bearing.SOLUTION: A projection 152 is formed on a seal lip 151 of a seal member 150. An oil passage 180 communicating between a bearing interior space 170 and the exterior and not allowing the passing of foreign matters having a specified particle diameter, is formed between a seal slide face 114 sliding in a circumferential direction with respect to the projection 152, and the seal lip 151. With the rotation of the bearing, lubrication oil in the oil passage 180 is drawn into an interspace between the seal lip 151 and the seal slide face 114, and oil film formation in the interspace is promoted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
