Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve power generation efficiency of a fuel cell by suppressing the reduction in gas diffusibility in the downstream region.SOLUTION: Disclosed is a gas passage structure of a fuel cell 1 in which a plurality of gas supply passages 52 and gas exhaust passages 62 are arranged alternately spaced apart from each other on a gas diffusion layer 15 of a membrane electrode assembly 10. In this gas passage structure, passage resistance from an upstream end 62a of each gas exhaust passage 62 to a downstream end 62b is larger than that from the upstream end 52a of each gas supply passage 52 adjacent to the gas exhaust passage 62 to the downstream end 52b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
