Abstract:
To provide a method for wetting fallen snow that achieves a desired moisture content in a limited, closed snowfall space regardless of the type of snow.SOLUTION: A method for wetting fallen snow has the steps of: generating a mist composed of water droplets with a predetermined particle size, in the air managed so that temperature and/or humidity is kept in a predetermined range; and allowing fallen snow to pass through the mist. According to a wetting possible time of fallen snow, a particle size of the mist and/or a water droplet density in the mist is controlled, and the snow is wetted to a desired moisture content.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
