Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for straightening strain of a sheet pile capable of straightening the sheet pile with respect to opening deformation and closing deformation at a higher speed and with higher accuracy.SOLUTION: An apparatus 3 for straightening a steel sheet pile is provided for straightening to a normal shape, the steel sheet pile having two flange parts extending respectively from both width-direction ends of a web part and bending and joint parts provided in the tips of the two flange parts. The apparatus 3 comprises a conveying unit for conveying the steel sheet pile in the horizontal direction along the longitudinal direction and a straightening unit provided in the middle of a conveying passage of the conveying unit and straightening the steel sheet pile by adding stress to a deformation place of the steel sheet pile. The straightening unit comprises a first straightening part 15 positioned on the upstream side in the conveying direction and expanding the flange part so as to have a bending angle of the normal shape or more and a second straightening part 16 having a horizontal pressing part positioned at a position downstream from the first straightening part in the conveying direction and pushing in the flange part of the deformation place having the bending angle or more of the normal shape to the inside and a width determining part for determining a pressing quantity by the horizontal pressing part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
