Abstract:
Provided is a resolution control system for a photographing apparatus, with which it is possible to reduce the amount of arithmetic processing when controlling the resolution of the photographing apparatus. This resolution control system for a photographing apparatus is provided with: an image information conversion device which converts image information from the photographing apparatus into a plurality of frame groups each provided with a plurality of frames, starting with the first frame through to the last frame; and a resolution control device which controls the resolution of the photographing apparatus for, from among the frame groups converted by the image information conversion device, the first and second frame groups adjacent to each other on the basis of the difference in reception time between the last frame of the first frame group and the first frame of the second frame group.
