Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil component capable of reducing a distance between a coil and an external periphery of a magnetic core.SOLUTION: A coil member 40 of a coil component 10, comprises: a coil 50 winded to the circumference of a winding axis 50X extended in parallel to a predetermined direction (Z direction); two caps 60 nipping the coil 50 in the Z direction; and an insulation member 70. The coil member 40 includes a predetermined cross section 40X in a YZ plane surface including the winding axis 50X. In the predetermined cross section 40X, the coil 50 includes: an external side part 506X; and an inner side part 508X. The external side part 506X regulates an external side end of the coil 50 in a straight direction (Y direction). The inner side part 508X regulates an inner side end of the coil 50 in the Y direction. The insulation member 70 covers the external side part 506X from an outer side of the Y direction. In the predetermined cross section 40X, a position positioned at the outer side of the Y direction from the inner side part 508X of the caps 60 is positioned only at the external side of the coil 50 in the Z direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
