Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent increase in power consumption even if a collapsing operation is hindered when retreating a focusing lens upon the collapsing operation.SOLUTION: A system control unit 112 is configured to, upon conducting a collapsing operation of a lens barrel 101, drive a zoom lens 102 and a tremor-proof lens 103 along an optical axis direction to an accommodation position from a start-up position; and cause a focus lens 104 to retreat in a first direction going across the optical axis in conjunction with a movement of the zoom lens. In this instance, prior to a timing of moving the focus lens, the system control unit is configured to drive the tremor-proof lens in a second direction opposite the first direction to make the tremor-proof lens retreat, and when the movement of the zoom lens is hindered, cut off energization for driving the tremor-proof lens.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
