Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device capable of reducing a bottoming load without need to newly provide a member for cushioning.SOLUTION: A ball bearing 34 for rotatably supporting the input shaft 26 of torque sensor S on housing 50 is disposed opposite to an upper tube 20, and is installed to be movable in the axial direction by pressing of the upper tube 20 when the upper tube 20 moves in the axial direction and collides. Therefore, it is unnecessary to newly provide a member for buffering the moving upper tube, and the bottoming load is reduced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
