Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain a heated quantity of a tip of a fuel injection nozzle.SOLUTION: An exhaust inner injection device comprises a main passage 1 in which a main flow F1 of exhaust gas discharged from an internal combustion engine flows, a concave part 2 opened and communicated on and with the main passage, a mounting hole 13 opened and communicated on and with the concave part, and a fuel injection nozzle 15 inserted and mounted in and to the mounting hole. The concave part is defined at least by a cylindrical wall 21 formed on a main passage side, and a throttle wall 22 formed between the cylindrical wall and the mounting hole. The exhaust inner injection device is constituted to generate a swirl flow F3 inside the cylindrical wall based on an exfoliation flow F2 exfoliated from the main flow at a an opening end of the concave part and at a position of a main flow upstream end, and restrain the swirl flow toward the mounting hole by the throttle wall.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
