Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic member that reduces ununiform wear of a photoreceptor even in a high-speed electrophotographic device, and reduces the occurrence of a dot-like image and a horizontal streak image caused by abnormal discharge.SOLUTION: An electrophotographic member comprises a conductive substrate and a conductive elastic layer as a surface layer; exposed on a surface of the conductive elastic layer is an edge part of an opening of a bowl-shape resin particle obtained through opening of a hollow-shape resin particle; a concave part defined by the edge part and an inner wall of the resin particle and a convex part derived from the edge part are present. The convex part includes a first convex part area bent in the inside direction of the concave part, and a second convex part area. Various straight lines and angles defined by the tip of the first convex part area, the tip of the second convex part area, and the concave part satisfy a predetermined relational expression.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
