Abstract:
To provide a light-weight edible straw that adopts an edible structure and has a light and crispy texture as a whole.SOLUTION: Starch 12 and microcapsules 14 are mixed at a fixed rate and molded into one body 16, and the body 16 is held to a hollow structure by a dewatering or drying system. The structure has a pipe wall and is charged into solder liquid 22. The solder liquid 22 generates a liquid immersion effect on the body 16, to complete a solid and light-weight, edible straw 32. The microcapsules 14 have a diameter of 30-1000 μm. The microcapsules 14 include at least one set of hollow capsules. The hollow capsules have a fixed volume of interior space surrounded by wall material. The interior space houses a fixed volume of gas.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
