Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an analyte analysis device reducing a disposal cost using a paper material and capable of performing a sensing operation as an Otto arrangement type plasmonic sensor.SOLUTION: An analyte analysis device 10 includes: an analyte housing part 4 formed with an optical prism 1 and a side wall part 3 for defining a side surface between a support plate 2 and an analyte housing space S; a detection sheet 5 arranged so as to seal an opening side of the analyte housing space S; a light irradiation part 6 capable of irradiating a linear polarization to the optical prism 1; and a light detection part 7 capable of detecting properties of reflectance emitted from the optical prism 1. When viewing from the analyte housing part 4 side, the detection sheet 5 is formed with a detection layer 5a for generating a change in properties of the reflectance according to the change of conductivity in the analyte housing space S and a base material layer 5b whose glossiness is at least 90 degrees and formed with any of a natural paper and a synthetic paper in this order.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
