Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary battery arrangement structure for a vehicle that improves the strength of a vehicle body with respect to force applied from behind the vehicle, while effectively utilizing a space in the vehicle.SOLUTION: An auxiliary battery arrangement structure 100 comprises: a first support part 101 connected to a wheel house HH for a rear wheel and located in the rear of the vehicle with respect to the wheel house HH; a second support part 103 connected to a side member SM; and an auxiliary battery holding part 105 disposed so as to connect an upper end face P101c of the first support part 101 and the upper end face P103c of the second support part 103 and holding an auxiliary battery BT. Thus, the auxiliary battery BT can be disposed in a space in the rear of the vehicle with respect to the wheel house HH for the rear wheel, and a space in the vehicle can effectively be used. In addition, force applied from behind the vehicle can be transmitted not only to the side member SM but also to the wheel house HH and, therefore, the strength of a vehicle body can be improved with respect to force applied from behind the vehicle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
