Abstract:
The invention provides a polarizer inspection method and a polarizer manufacturing method. The polarizing plate inspection method inspects a polarizing plate with good precision when manufacturing the polarizing plate which can realize multi-functionalization and high functionalization of an electronic device and has no deviation in quality. The inspection method of the present invention includes a step of irradiating light to a range including a non-polarization part (2) of a polarizer (1) having the non-polarization part (2), and capturing a transmitted light image of the polarizer (1). Here, the contrast ratio (non-polarization part/other part) between the non-polarization part (2) and the other part in the transmitted light image is 1.5 or more.
