Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflective encoder scale capable of providing sufficient moisture-proof performance even under high-temperature high-humidity conditions.SOLUTION: The reflective encoder scale comprises: a light-transmitting resin substrate 10 that receives light through a front face 11; a light-reflecting metal film 20 formed on a rear face 12 of the light-transmitting resin substrate 10 in a prescribed pattern; and a low reflection layer 30 that absorbs light not reflected by the light-reflecting metal film 20. The reflective encoder scale is characterized by a resist 40 attached to the light-reflecting metal film 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
