Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire and a method of manufacturing the same, which can improve air dispersibility during vulcanization on a boundary surface of a reinforcement layer, and effectively suppress blister fault.SOLUTION: A carcass layer 4 is formed as a sheet-like reinforcement layer made of a plurality of aligned cords coated with rubber; the carcass layer 4 is sewn with at least one thread 12 which penetrates through the carcass layer 4; a green tire including the carcass layer 4 with the thread 12 is molded; and the green tire is vulcanized. A pneumatic tire obtained by the above method includes at least the one thread 12 with which the carcass layer 4 is sewn so that the thread penetrates through the carcass layer 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
