Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording device which can smoothly circulate an ink.SOLUTION: An ink jet recording device comprises a main tank, a recording part, a circulation flow passage and a liquid feeding part. The main tank accumulates an ink. The recording part includes an ink jet head. The circulation flow passage is a tubular flow passage for circulating an ink supplied from the main tank. The liquid feeding part is provided on the circulation flow passage, and makes the ink flow into the circulation flow passage. The circulation flow passage includes a sharing channel and a recovery channel. A supply channel is continued to the recording part, and the ink, which flows in the recording part, flows in the supply channel. The recovery channel is continued to the recording part, and the ink, which flows out from the recording part, flows in the recovery channel. In the circulation flow passage, a first cross sectional area of an internal space of the supply channel orthogonal to a circulation direction is so set as to be smaller than a second cross sectional area of an internal space of the recovery channel orthogonal to the circulation direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
