Abstract:
Provided is a wireless device which, with a simple configuration not requiring a digital processing unit that digitally randomly generates and adds a frequency offset, is capable of suppressing the formation of a weak electric field area due to the beam pattern in a virtual cell configuration comprising a plurality of sector cells. The wireless device uses a virtual cell configuration system in which a virtual cell comprising a plurality of sector cells is configured and all or a portion of the signals transmitted on the downlink of the respective sector cells are identical among the sector cells. The wireless device is provided with, for each of the individual sector cells: a transmission signal generation unit that generates a high-frequency transmission signal on the basis of a reference signal and an intermediate frequency signal to be transmitted; and a reference signal generation unit that generates the reference signal at a prescribed target frequency and supplies the reference signal to the transmission signal generation unit.
