Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion device in which explosive bonding is unlikely to occur even if an ignition operation is performed iteratively.SOLUTION: A combustion device comprises: a burner 11 which burns a mixture of a gas and air; a gas quantity regulation part 16 which regulates the quantity of the mixture to be supplied to the burner 11; an ignition detection part 32 which detects ignition of the burner 11; a burner control part which controls an ignition operation of the burner 11; and a re-ignition operation execution discrimination part which executes the ignition operation of the burner 11 again if the ignition is not detected after the ignition operation is performed and until the cumulative quantity of the mixture supplied to the burner 11 reaches a preset supply quantity. An ignition operation of the burner 11 that is executed for the first time after powering-on or an ignition operation that is executed after the lapse of a predetermined time or longer from stop of the supply of the mixture to the burner 11 is defined as an initial ignition operation. In a case where the ignition is not detected until the cumulative supply quantity reaches a first supply quantity that is the preset supply quantity in the initial ignition operation, a re-ignition operation is executed after setting the preset supply quantity to a second supply quantity that is less than the first supply quantity.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
