PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle management method and a vehicle management system that improves a vehicle operation rate.SOLUTION: A vehicle management method or/and a vehicle management system for a plurality of vehicles used by a plurality of users comprises: receiving user's use request for a vehicle; managing the use condition of the vehicle and the condition of the station of the vehicle; storing the use request including vehicle's departure place or arrival place specified by the user; extracting a station existing around the departure place or the arrival place; calculating an existence probability of the extracted station; and setting a station where the vehicle is lent or returned on the basis of the calculated existence probability.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
