PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication device that can reduce the frequency at which the radio communication device is disconnected from a radio network compared with a case where the radio communication device is periodically disconnected from the radio network and connected to a network to which a device to which setting is performed is connected, and attempts setting of the radio network, a radio communication system, and a radio communication setting program.SOLUTION: A radio communication system 10 comprises: an image forming apparatus 16 that, when a radio communication device (image forming apparatus 18) that performs initial setting on radio communication is present in a result of search for an access point of the radio communication, connects to the image forming apparatus 18 through the radio communication and transmits, to the image forming apparatus 18, first setting information 41 for connecting to an available repeating device; and the image forming apparatus 18 that receives first setting information 41 from the image forming apparatus 16 when performing the initial setting and performs the initial setting on radio connection on the basis of the received first setting information 41.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
