Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sanitary washing device capable of producing hot water of a prescribed temperature using only the heater patterns that are not defective, even when any of a plurality of heater patterns gets out of order.SOLUTION: A sanitary washing device is capable of discharging hot water obtained by heating water flowing through a water flow passage to a prescribed temperature and washing a private part of a human body. The sanitary washing device includes: a heating unit provided with a plurality of heating heater patterns; a case part into which the heating unit is inserted and in which a water flow passage for supplied water is formed around the heating unit; and a control part capable of executing temperature control for changing an energization ratio per unit time to each of the heater patterns so that a temperature of the hot water heated by the heating unit becomes a preset prescribed temperature. The control part determines a failure of each of the heater patterns, and when none of the heater patterns is determined to be defective, the control part executes temperature control at a first heating density, and when any of the heater patterns is determined to be defective, the control part executes temperature control by switching the heating density of the heater patterns which are not defective, to a second heating density that is greater than the first heating density.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
