Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oscillating radar apparatus and a data analysis apparatus capable of identifying corrosion points of rebar of RC building in a nondestructive and accurate manner without being influenced by external factors such as cracks of concrete.SOLUTION: An exciting coil 103 is brought into contact with a pillar 102 of an RC building, and a rebar inside a column is vibrated at a low frequency. The rebar is irradiated with a radar wave and a reflected wave is received. By analyzing complex component data obtained by orthogonal detection, a peak amplitude and a peak time delay of a Doppler component and a non-modulated component are observed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
