Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet feeding device and image formation apparatus which can reduce the cost without requiring a special actuator for lifting a feeding member up and down.SOLUTION: A sheet feeding device includes: a lift-up plate which lifts up an intermediate plate; a pickup roller 6 which can move a sheet supported by the intermediate plate to the feeding position capable of feeding the sheet and the separation position of separating from the sheet; a swing unit 55 which supports the pickup roller 6 in a manner of being swingable between the feeding position and the separation position; a second link member 18 which can move to the holding position and the allowable position; a motor 27 which generates the driving force; and a transmission unit 56 which has a first transmission section 56A capable of transmitting the driving force from the motor 27 to the lift-up plate and a second transmission section 56B capable of transmitting the driving force from the motor 27 to the second link member 18. When the intermediate plate is lifted up by the motor 27, the second link member 18 moves to the allowable position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
