PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology of changing an output format of a receipt to be output.SOLUTION: An information processing system 1 includes a commodity registration apparatus 10, and a settlement apparatus 20 which executes settlement processing by use of settlement information output from the commodity registration apparatus 10. The information processing system 1 outputs a receipt relating to the settlement of a commodity registered as an object to be settled, in a first cut mode when the receipt is output by the commodity registration apparatus 10, or in a second cut mode different from the first cut mode when the receipt is output by the settlement apparatus 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
