Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a porous concrete excellent in heat resistance which hardly causes deterioration such as explosive fracture in the case where the peripheral temperature repeats high temperature and low temperature and such conditions occur over a long period.SOLUTION: There is provided a porous concrete having a porosity of 20 to 30 vol.% and a water-retaining ability of 0.20 g/cmor more which comprises: a fine aggregate having a maximum grain size of less than 2.5 mm which is composed of portland cement, fly ash and igneous rock; a coarse aggregate which is composed of igneous rock and has a grain size of 2.5 mm or more and a grain size distribution in which the ratio of an aggregate having a grain size range of 2.5 to 5 mm is 80 mass% or more; water; and a cement dispersant, wherein the amount of the fly ash is 10 to 80 pts.mass, the amount of the fine aggregate is 40 to 110 pts.mass, the amount of water is 35 to 45 pts.mass, the amount of the cement dispersant is 0.5 to 3.0 pts.mass based on 100 pts.mass of the portland cement, the volume ratio of mortar composed of a material other than the coarse aggregate to 100 vol.% of the coarse aggregate is 30 to 50%.SELECTED DRAWING: None
