Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage type water heater capable of performing a heat recovery operation of high energy efficiency.SOLUTION: A storage type water heater includes first and second hot water storage tanks, a tank connection pipe for connecting a lower portion of the first hot water storage tank and an upper portion of the second hot water storage tank, a water supply pipe for supplying water to a lower portion of the second hot water storage tank, a water inlet pipe for supplying water of the lower portion of the second hot water storage tank to heating means, hot water outlet pipe for supplying the water heated by the heating means to an upper portion of the first hot water storage tank, a heat exchanger for exchanging heat between bathtub water guided to a bathtub water circulation circuit from a bathtub, and a heat medium, a bathtub water pump for circulating the bathtub water to the bathtub water circulation circuit, a heat recovery circuit for supplying the water stored in the lower portion of the second hot water storage tank to the heat exchanger as the heat medium, and returning the heat medium having passed through the heat exchanger to a position above the lower portion of the second hot water storage tank, a circulation pump for circulating the heat medium to the heat recovery circuit, and a control device for controlling the bathtub water pump and the circulation pump.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
