Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to efficiently feed members according to situations. When a cart for transporting members to each work station where each work is carried out in a work process departs from a preparation station, or when the cart has completed supplying a member to a given work station, this member supplying method causes a computer (100) to execute the process of: acquiring from each work station the number of remaining members to be used for work at the work station; predicting the time when the members will run out at each work station on the basis of the acquired number of members for each work station; searching for a path to each work station through which the members are supplied on the basis of moving time and a moving distance between the work stations and the predicted time when the members run out; and providing instruction about a work station to which members are to be supplied next on the basis of the searched path.
