Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide: a detergent composition which exhibits excellent detergency against solid fat-containing oil stains attached to hard surfaces of hard articles such as plastics; and a detergent-use surfactant used in same. Provided is a detergent composition for tableware that contains a surfactant represented by general formula (a1) as component (a). (In the formula, R1a and R2a are each independently a branched chain hydrocarbon group having 1 or more side chains, with the total number of carbon atoms in the branched chain hydrocarbon group being 7-22, and the total number of carbon atoms that constitute side chains being 3-7. A1 and A2 are each independently an alkylene group having 2-4 carbon atoms, and x and y denote the average added number of mols, and are each independently 0-6. M1 is a hydrogen atom or a cation.)
