Abstract:
To provide a base material for water treatment, a water treatment apparatus, a cooling tower and a cooling system, in which the effect by a water-soluble compound can be continuously obtained for a long period of time, while reducing the number of chemicals to be used and the frequency of replenishment in the liquid state of the water-soluble compounds.SOLUTION: A cooling system 100 comprises: a cooling apparatus 10 that uses cooling water to perform cooling; a cooling tower 12 that cools cooling water supplied from the cooling device 10; and a water treatment apparatus 14 that treats the cooling water or a cooling tower 12, which comprises a base substrate for water treatment made of a resin material in which a water-soluble compound is blended with a water-insoluble resin without being supported by an inorganic carrier.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
