Abstract:
To provide a system or the like that can stably control the operation of tandem trains using a security telegram.SOLUTION: A train control system comprises: a first on-board device of a first train; a second on-board device of a second train; and a security device of a track on which the first train and the second train run. The train control system controls the operation of the first and second trains on the basis of a security telegram that is circulated among the first on-board device, the second on-board device, and the security device. When the first and second trains are joined tandem, a tandem identification code is included in the security telegram circulated among the first on-board device, the second on-board device, and the security device so as to uniquely distinguish the first train from the second train joined tandem to the first train.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
