Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition which has a low solidification temperature, can be used in a high-temperature range of 300°C to 800°C, and has little resource restriction; and, further, to provide a heat transfer system and a heat storage system using the composition, and a renewable energy plant and a chemical plant equipped with these systems.SOLUTION: Provided is a composition which comprises Li, K, and Br and preferably has the following constitution: [Li] 25 atom% to 95 atom%; and [K] 5 atm% to 75 atom%. The composition can be produced by a method comprising a mixing step where raw materials containing Li, K, and Br are mixed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
